Also visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and shopping in the local market.

After breakfast depart for excursion to Khardung-La, the 2nd highest motorable pass in the world. Return to hotel and relax after a long journey or enjoy shopping (on own) in the local market for Tibetan handicrafts, artefacts, silver and stone jewellery, woollens, rugs and carpets.

• Day trip to Pangong Lake (between 17370 ft - 13,860 ft)

After an early breakfast proceed on a full day excursion to Pangong Lake, located on the Indo-China Border, enroute cross Chang-la pass, offering spectacular scenic beauty and remains snow-covered
throughout the year. Arrive Pangong lake, the world’s highest salt-water lake. Its water seems dyed in blue, standing in contrast to the arid mountains surrounding the lake. 1/3rd of the lake lies in India and 2/3rd of the lake is in China. After exploring the beauty of lake, drive back to Leh reaching your hotel late in the evening/night.
