The Bhasam aarti here is definitely a visit. After breakfast depart for Maheshwar. En route visit Omkareshwar, a sacred town known for its spiritual significance and scenic beauty. Arrive Omkareshwar and visit Omkareshwar Temple, built in the shape of the sacred "Om" symbol; Mamleshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Continue driving to Maheshwar, situated on the banks of river Narmada. En route see mesmerizing sights of the holy river Narmada, its rich history, and the reflection of the Maratha and Malwa empires that ruled over years. Arrive Maheshwar and check into your hotel. After breakfast check out from hotel and visit Maheshwar Fort, known for its impressive architecture the fort offers stunning views of Narmada river; Kaleshwar and Rajrajeshwar temple, both dedicated to Lord Shiva; Ahilya Bai Holkar Palace, a beautifully restored palace is a testament to the town’s royal history and offers insights into the life of Ahilya Bai; Handloom weaving; Maheshwar is famous for its hand-woven Maheshwar sarees. At a local weaver, see the craft of the sari being weaved and here you can also purchase these beautiful sarees. Continue driving to Indore. This was the trading hub between the Deccan and Delhi in the 16 th century. It was Rani Ahilya Bai Holkar, with her keen interest in education and planning, built this city. Indore is ranked as "the cleanest city in India" for the 6 th consecutive year and has reserved its place among the first 20 cities to be developed as smart cities in India.
