After breakfast drive to Tsomgo Lake (12,313 ft, 40 km/2 ½ hour drive), located very close to Nathula Pass, the entry point to China. It is also known as the “Silk Route and remains frozen for most months in the year. Enjoy the surroundings and majestic snowy peaks and visit Baba mandir before returning to Gangtok. The evening is free to relax or to go shopping on own for shopping for Sikkimese art and handicrafts on the mall road/in the local market.

• Tashi View Point, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Handicraft showroom, Do-Drul Stupa, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology

After breakfast visit Tashi View Point to view Mt. Khangchendzonga offering a breathtaking view of the majestic peak & surrounding hills. Also seen are the monasteries at Phodong & Labrang; Hanuman Tok, temple devoted to Lord Hanuman; Ganesh Tok, a temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha
which is so small in size that it can accommodate one person and one has to crawl to get inside; handicraft & handloom showroom showcasing the skills of local and village artisans. Beautiful carpets, hand carved tables, traditional handcrafts, and other products are exhibited and sold here; Do-Drul Chorten (Stupa), built in 1945 containing rare details of Dorji Phupa, Holy Books, mantras and is encircled by 108 prayer wheels; Namgyal Institute of Tibetology built in 1958 in traditional style for the study of the Mahayana Buddhist philosophy and is the treasure house of rare “Thankas” and statues of over 200 Buddhist icons. Return to hotel by evening to rest and relax.

After breakfast depart to Pelling driving past a small township Ravangala, one of the closest points to the Kanchenjunga range. The rest of the time is free to rest and relax or to go on own shopping for traditional art and handicrafts in the local market.

• Skywalk, Khecheopalri lake, Rimbi falls & Khangchendzonga waterfalls, The Pemayangtse Monastery Rabdentse ruins

After early breakfast leave for the skywalk, Khecheopalri lake or “Wish Fulfilling Lake”. It lies in a depression surrounded by prayer flags and forested hills, Rimbi falls and Khangchendzonga falls. In
the afternoon visit The 17 th century Pemayangtse Monastery, considered to be one of the oldest monasteries of the Nyingmapa order of Buddhism, Rabdentse Ruins, the 2 nd capital of the King of Sikkim until 1814 A.D. Close to the Pemyangtse Monastery, it’s a 30mins walk from the main road. The scenic view from the top of the ruins scanning across the deep valley, to the mystic heights of the Kanchenjunga range, remains etched in memory. Return to hotel by evening to rest and relax.

After breakfast drive to Kalimpong. Also called the garden of flowers, this town is a mix of scenic- nature, flowers, greenery, waters, mists, clouds etc. Arrive Kalimpong & check into your hotel. The  rest of the day is at leisure or you can visit on your own the local market for curio shopping;
Kalimpong cheese & lollypops of Swiss technology from “Larks” or just stroll in the local market enjoying the cafes and the surrounding nature.

• Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brang monastery, Pine View Point, Dr Graham's Homes, Delo Hill, Mangal Dham Temple

After breakfast proceed on Kalimpong sightseeing visiting the Durpin Hill, housing the famous Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brang monastery, belonging to the same Buddhist sect as the present Dalai Lama; Pine View Point, Dr Graham's Homes complex with its historic church & well-maintained grounds founded in 1900 by Rev. Dr. J A Graham, Delo Hill, the highest point in Kalimpong; Mangal Dham Temple dedicated to Lord Krishna.  Proceed to Darjeeling. After a scenic drive thru the mountains and tea gardens reach Darjeeling and check into your hotel. The evening is free to relax or to go shopping on own looking around for traditional art and handicrafts on the mall road.

• Tiger Hill, Ghoom monastery, Batasia loop, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Ropeway, Zoo, Tenzing rock, Tibetan refugee self-help centre, & a Japanese temple

Leave early morning at 4am to Tiger Hill to view the sunrise from behind the majestic Kunchenjunga range. Thereafter visit the Ghoom monastery & Batasia loop, before returning to hotel. After breakfast proceed on Darjeeling sightseeing visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Ropeway, Zoo, Tenzing rock, Tibetan refugee self-help centre, & a Japanese temple. Return back to the hotel by evening.
